Anthropic於9月22日發布Claude Opus 5.5，稱這是Claude 5.5系列首個模型，在agentic coding、computer use及knowledge work方面有提升，且典型工作負載成本較Claude Opus 5低40%。官方定價列明每100萬tokens為4美元input、20美元output，cache reads為0.20美元；Anthropic亦表示Opus 5.5輸出速度較Opus 5快逾30%。
安全方面，Anthropic表示Opus 5.5已經外部評估機構測試，並在其自動化行為審核中取得歷來最佳表現；模型亦套用與Claude Fable 5.1相近的cybersecurity、biology及distillation safeguards。Anthropic稱，Opus 5.5已在各平台開放，包括Amazon Web Services、Google Cloud、Microsoft Azure及Claude Platform；開發者可使用claude-opus-5-5。對企業採用者而言，這次更新同時影響模型能力、token預算、資料保留及高風險領域的存取審批安排。
